What you study during the 4-Week Wine Course
- Wine tasting and evaluation techniques, buying, storing
and ordering wine, restaurant wine etiquette, concepts of
appellation and terroir.
- Structural characteristics and flavor profiles of the
major grape varieties listed in the
syllabus and their nuances across leading wine regions.
- The differences the same grape variety exhibits across
regions, and the climate, topography, and winemaking
traditions of each major region.

8-Week Wine Course by
Tasting World

Join this class if you are looking for a complete coverage of
the world's major wine regions, varieties, and the current
trends in winemaking. We'll start with the components of a wine
and wine-tasting techniques; then we'll get to know the major
regions of the world. Among other topics, we'll talk about the
differences between the "New World" and the "Old World", the
concept of terroir, the importance of the vintage and
the producer, and the recent developments in the wine world. You
will learn how to decode a wine label, how to identify faulty
wine, and the major principles of matching food and wine. We'll
also have a class where we taste the same wine from different
glasses to see if and how the glass matters.
